Hi folks

Important reminders.

1. This Saturday 15 August PNZ is having their meeting in Auckland at Herne Bay. 

    From 2-4pm will be an open forum for petanque players to engage in discussion with the new PNZ board.

2. The AGM of our Auckland Association is on Tuesday 25 August at Herne Bay Clubrooms at 7pm.

3. We need a President and a  Treasurer.  These positions can be filled by anyone.

4. If no-one offers to be secretary, I will do it for one more year only.

5. The committee is made up of one representative from each club.  These reps. are essential for  the management of APA on behalf of its members.

6. There are lots of areas of development and/or responsibility where individuals or small groups can offer their services.e.g. the Sec Schools tournament, recording      interclub results, helping organise the Open, assisting in applying for funds, looking after our website, assisting at our regional  tournaments, assisting with  publicity, learn to score and help at selection days, become involved in coaching or umpiring, a Seniors sub-committee, a youth development group.   So please think about something you can do to help or become involved in.

7. Interclub entries need to be with the Secretary on the night of the AGM.  Make sure you talk with your club members about getting a team together.

NB       Any member wishing to submit notice of motion(s) for consideration at this Annual General Meeting must ensure that full details reach APA Secretary no later than 4 August 2009
