If you have a proposal you would like to put up here, go ahead if you know how to do this, or email it to me (Tom) and I will put it up for you.

Remember, proposals and comments are here to stay forever, and serve as a safeguard against Retrograde Amnesia.

Think before you make a proposal or comment. Our NZ Petanque Wiki is not a high-speed conversation board. It's not a news server either. What you say will stay here forever (yeah, we do take backups) for everyone to see and comment.

17/05/06 After receiving a phone call from a PNZ representative, it appears that some people think that the Discussion Documents are rules and methods set in concrete. Nothing is further from the truth.

These are simply ideas around our game of Petanque, opened up for discussion. Anyone can put up a topic (proposal), and anyone can provide input. It is an exchange of ideas.
In the end I hope that clubs, regional or national (PNZ) organisations will take up some of these proposals for consideration. If no one participates, we can at least say that there is no support for a particular proposal. Knowing this is valuable in itself.
