Mimmi Cochonnet
The photo on the left is of Mimmi Cochonnet, the mother of Jacques Cochonnet. Jacques is Life President of the Société Internationale des Pratiquants de Petanquisme et Jeux Alliés (SIPPJA).
She has a small cottage in her beloved Eux-sur-Marquer in Provence which has become her now famous cooking school "MIMMI". Mimmi is renowned for her version of Tartelette Méridionale.
In 1997 her son ("mon petit Jacques") was made Patron of the Wellington Petanque Association WPA when the inter-club trophy was named after him. For Mimmi this was the best and most emotional day of her life "mon petit garçon avec WPA La Nouvelle Zélande".
